1955 Pontiac Star Chief Convertible. The Star Chief was Pontiac’s prestige model; this old car was easily identified by its chrome star trim along its sides.

That is a ‘Beautiful’ car. Relative had one when I was a kid. I thought that was the most beautiful care I had ever seen at the time Cool.
I learned to drive on a 2door hardtop like that. No power steering. My dad said the power was in my arms. He used to let me sit in the middle and operate the gas and (manual) brakes. On dirt roads, I could drive. Those were the days.
I suspect the guy who ordered it was color-blind.
I guess you would have ordered chartreuse or passionate pink
Hahaha…touche !
Would like to see a 1955 Pontiac Safari in mint condition.
In 1943 My family bought a new green two door Chieftan, not sure of the model. Dad kept it looking sharp all the time. Great cars
I had a 1956 only in blue and white.
My absolute favorite car of all time!
I was 14, and discovered girls and cars all at the same time.

Unfortunately, couldn’t afford it then, can’t afford it now……
I had both 2 door hardtop no air con and my 4 door loaded with a/c, power brakes, power steering and power windows and what I love about the parking the car you have to putting the car in (R) for reverse pressing break and turn off the key and the car would lock AND THAT WAS YOUR PARK kool. Drove my 55 Pont Chieftain for many years.
