Fleetwood Cadillac Models & History 1987
This year the Fleetwood D’Elegance became an upscale version of the Sedan DeVille. Like the DeVille, the Fleetwood D’Elegance had new deflected disc front strut valving, a new two-piece front strut mount, new shear-type rear strut mounts and new hydro-elastic engine mounts. The result of these changes was a smoother and quieter ride. The rear brake drums and master cylinder was also revised to provide less pedal travel and improved modulation.
