Dodge introduced the Challenger in 1970 as their answer the Ford’s Mustang and Chevrolet’s Camaro. It was aimed at the luxury muscle car market segment. While Dodge did not build any factory 1971 Dodge Challenger Hemi R/T Convertibles, it’s quite possible this is a close example to what one would have looked like had they done so.
