Any Mustang enthusiast that also favors drag racing is probably familiar with the name Bob Tasca. An avid racer in the ’60s, Tasca was always pushing the envelope when building his Ford cars to dominate the quarter mile. Even more, he owned the second largest Ford dealership in the world during this same time. The 1968 Ford Mustang 428 Cobra Jet Tasca Lightweight was Tasca’s idea to offer a more performance-oriented Mustang, and it became the predecessor to Ford’s factory Cobra Jet. Only 50 of these Tasca Lightweights were built. GT Motor Cars is excited to offer the opportunity to add this rare and restored slice of American muscle to your garage.
