Powered by a robust 2,912cc 150bhp twin-carb six-cylinder engine paired with a four-speed manual overdrive transmission and featuring front disc brakes, the 3000 Mk III maintained performance worthy of its sporting legacy. Despite the enduring popularity of the Big Healey, increasing safety and emissions regulations hinted at its eventual decline.
