Fleetwood Cadillac Models & History 1973
Standard equipment on the Brougham included DeVille features (with different body underscores) plus:
- Automatic Level Control
- Dual-Comfort front seat
- rear reading lights
- a new front reading lamp
- padded vinyl roof with rear chrome moldings
- carpeted, rear compartment foot rests.
Four window, rounded corner roof styling, with extra wide center pillars, was seen again. Tires with pencil thin whitewall bands were used.

The 1973 Cadillac engines were the same as the 1972 except for a new EGR (exhaust gas recirculation system). The ’73 model was now calculated by the SAE net horsepower rating.
