Cadillac Fleetwood History 1990

Cadillac Fleetwood Models & History 1990

All of the new or improved features introduced for the 1990 deVilles were also found on the Fleetwood Cadillacs. The elite cloth used for the 1989 Fleetwood seats was replaced by a new “Ardmore” material. The Fleetwood’s standard aluminum lace wheels different slightly from the deVille’s by having a silver background for the center cap and a chrome wreath in association with a crest in traditional Cadillac colors. Wire wheel discs were optional.

Cadillac’s depiction of the 1990 Fleetwood Sixty Special was of a car “for those buyers who seek luxury with power.” Added to the Fleetwood’s list of 1990 features were a number of items appropriate to the Sixty Special’s status. Three new exterior colors, slate gray, medium slate gray and dark slate gray, were available for the Sixty Special. A total of 11 colors were offered. A new ultrasoft leather slate gray color, for a total of three, was also available.
