2003 Ford Mustang Mach 1

2003 FORD MUSTANG MACH 1 BACKGROUND
After the success of Ford had with the 2001 Mustang Bullitt, they decided to continue the line of “Living Legend”-Mustangs by reviving yet another hallowed name in Mustang lore, the Mach 1. Several key styling cues were intended to tap into that deep well of heritage including the functional shaker hood, flat black hood stripe, front and rear spoilers, Mach 1 emblems, model-specific rocker panel extensions and side scoops. The hottest engine they built at the time was the DOHC 32-valve version of the 4.6-liter modular V8, this one all-aluminum and pumping out 305 horsepower. While most were ordered with 5-speeds, they also came with automatics.
