1976 FORD THUNDERBIRD GETS A 460
1974 was the first year for the 460 V8 in the T-Bird, with 1976 being the final year. 1976 was also the final year for the 6th-generation. The 7th-gen car launched in 1977 with small block power only (302, 351 & 400 V8s). The 460 was thus the last big block to power a T-Bird, and the last was the 1976 Ford Thunderbird.
