1971 Ford Mustang Boss 351

The Boss 351, created as a high-performance version of the iconic ‘pony car’, boasted a sturdy Competition suspension package, a ‘Traction-Lok’ 9-inch differential with a 3.91:1 rear axle, bigger front disc brakes, color-coded racing mirrors, a front chin spoiler, a ‘ram-air’ induction system, and a rear sports spoiler.

This Mustang houses a naturally aspirated 351-cubic inch (5.8-liter) Cleveland V8 engine that matches the identification numbers, generating approximately 246kW / 330bhp. It transfers power to the rear wheels using a four-speed ‘Toploader’ manual transmission equipped with a Hurst shifter.
