The car was legendary for introducing an extremely complex hydraulic system that powered the divider window, front and rear seats, passenger windows, sunroof (or Landaulet top), boot lid—and even the fuel-filler flap. The 600 was known for its adjustable pneumatic self-levelling suspension, providing a supremely comfortable quality of ride and excellent handling over any road surface.
