The GT option was offered again in 1968. It could be purchased if you ordered the 230, 325 or 390 hp engines. The package consisted of 14 inch styled steel wheels, a pop open GT gas cap, “C” side striping and a GT side emblem. There were only 17,458 GT’s manufactured in 1968.
