1964 Bizzarrini Strada

Bizzarrini Strada (also known as 5300 GT) is a grand tourer produced by Bizzarrini from 1965 as a 2-seat coupe, 2-seat roadster and track racer ‘Corsa’ variant. Strada was designed by ex-Ferrari chief engineer Giotto Bizzarrini in 1963 and it was powered by a small-block 327 Corvette 5.40litre V8 engine which developed 365bhp-385bhp (depending on a model) in a road-going version and 400bhp in the racing setup. Fitted with 4-wheel disc brakes, a limited slip differential and de Dion tube rear suspension car was Bizzarrini’s most successful model. The aluminium body styled by Bertone was beautiful in its day and it’s regarded gorgeous to this day. The Italian automaker ceased the production of the car in 1968. Only 133 Stradas were built including a single spyder prototype.
