This is one of only two examples of the Porsche 356 Carrera Zagato Coupé Sanction Lost that were built. It’s an exacting re-creation of the Porsche-Zagato Speedster raced by Claude Storez in 1958 and 1959, however the “Sanction Lost” examples were only built by Zagato from 2015 – 2017. Zagato named the cars “Sanction Lost” and built a total of 18, 9 open-top Speedsters and 9 coupes. Just one of the Speedsters and two of the coupes were given Porsche Carrera engines. Zagato recreated the cars by scanning surviving photographs and by using an original concept drawing found in their archives.
