1959 Mercury Country Cruiser Colony Park Station Wagon

Mercury’s 1959 Country Cruisers were touted as the “Newest of All Station Wagons,” and this well-preserved Colony Park was the top of the line. Celebrating its 20th anniversary, Mercury restyled the wagon lineup with sculpted lines, giving it a sleeker appearance and adding simulated woodgrain trim.

This Colony Park has a 383-cubic-inch V-8 engine rated at 322 horsepower and a Merc-O-Matic three-speed automatic transmission. Optional power steering and power brakes make for easy handling, and a tinted Panoramic Skylight Windshield illuminates the two-tone interior loaded with “practical luxury.”

Optional features include a third-row Stow-Away folding seat, a roof-mount luggage rack, and power windows and locks. With over 90 cubic feet of interior cargo space and a power-retracting tailgate window, this wagon is perfect for road trips with its nine-passenger capacity.
