1958 Dodge Coronet Super D-500 Convertible

The 1958 Dodge Coronet Super D-500 Convertible featured here is finished in gorgeous Eggshell over Crimson Red with a beautiful red and black interior with a white convertible top. This 1958 Dodge Super D-500 Convertible is among the rarest and most desirable Mopars ever produced; it is one of only eleven 1958 Super D-500s known to exist. It is equipped with a factory 361-cubic-inch V-8 topped with two four-barrel carburetors and backed by a 3-Speed push-button TorqueFlite transmission. Dodge introduced the Super D-500 in 1958 as one of the first factory hot rods with one of the most powerful engines available at the time, adding bigger brakes and heavier duty suspension pieces to handle the extra power. As with many of the other high performance cars of its time, very few buyers opted for the Super D-500, making them among the most coveted early Mopars in the world.
