Introduced in 1956, the Adventurer marked a significant leap in quality and performance. The 1957 model, powered by a 355-horsepower, 345-cubic-inch Fireflite V-8 engine, achieved a remarkable milestone as the first production vehicle to reach the coveted one-horsepower-per-cubic-inch ratio with its standard engine.

With a suggested retail price of $4,272, only 300 Adventurer convertibles were manufactured.
