1956 Fiat Eden Roc

The Fiat Eden Roc – custom-made beach car hand-built at Pininfarina. Ordered in the mid 50’s by Gianni Agnelli who had a vision of transporting his guests around his vast property on the French Riviera. Built on the stretched chassis of the Fiat Multipla with the luxurious wood finishing and the unusual, doorless body was the perfect fit for driving alongside the sea. Eden Roc made its debut at the 1956 Paris Motor Show where the chairman of the Union Oil – William Doheny ordered a copy of the vehicle to use at his own place at Lake Arrowhead. Rumours say, that the third counterpart of this vehicle has been built for Henry Fors II, however, this remains unconfirmed.
