1953 Lagonda 3 Litre

1953 Lagonda 3 Litre

Introduced in 1953, the Lagonda 3-Litre was the successor to the 2.6-Litre. For this updated car, Lagonda’s 2.6L engine saw an increase in displacement as well as horsepower. Over the course of production, the Lagonda 3-Litre was offered as a 4 door drophead, a 4 door saloon, and a 2 door coupe. The 3.0-Litre was produced until 1958, and would be the last Lagonda branded car offered. Aston Martin has produced a few models that feature the Lagonda name, yet are not produced by Lagonda. This Lagonda 3-Litre is not to be confused with the earlier 1928-1934 Lagonda 3-Litre.
