Barrett-Jackson has this 1937 Cord 812 Phaeton up for auction at its Palm Beach sale, which takes place from April 11-13, 2014. Despite its pre-Second World War birth its specification is quite ‘modern’ – it has front-wheel drive and independent front suspension. The 812’s predecessor, the 810, even had semi-automatic transmission.
