1936 MG SA Tourer

When SA production got under way in 1936, the saloon wasn’t the only available body style. MG offered a bare chassis for custom coachwork, as well as the striking two-door, four-passenger Tickford Drophead Coupé, with coachwork by Salmons and Sons Ltd. in Newport Pagnell, and the sleek Tourer, a fully open four-seat, four-door convertible whose body was styled and built by Charlesworth Bodies Ltd. in Coventry.
