The MG N-type Magnette models, produced from 1934 to 1936, provided buyers with a car that was more powerful and luxurious than MG’s four-cylinder “Midgets” while retaining the marque’s signature styling and nimble handling.
These cars occupied a niche market between the Midgets and the larger SA model that was set to debut soon, and were not expected to sell in large quantities. In total, only 745 N-type Magnettes were produced, including a mere 98 NB Two-Seaters.
